Successes
Judith and Tom:
Both only 26, still single, they were committed to their careers and Judith
in particular had great responsibilities as a senior nurse. The pub/club scene
was not for either of them; their friends were happily settled in relationships,
where could they go to meet up with friends/partners? They came to us, we
introduced them and love blossomed.
Douglas and Jean:
Douglas, 64, a widower, actually came to us just before last Christmas, which
was a very lonely time for him, and we introduced him to Jean, 59, a widow
and Clerical Assistant. They became very fond of each other, planned a summer
holiday together and Jean has written “We get on very well, we're very happy,
in fact just like one person at times. I would like to thank you for Douglas.”
Gerald & Jo:
Gerald, 34, Jo, 36. Gerald wrote “You have just scored another successful
match! Jo and I just 'hit it off' the moment we met. A person I feel totally
at ease with”.
Jo then wrote “We are getting married - I will move with my two cats to join
Gerald and his one cat. Both of us are over the moon and very happy together.
So thank you KKB for introducing us to each other.”
Lorry and Connie:
Tony, 65, a widower and retired businessman was introduced to Connie, 70,
because they both had a great love of sailing and travel. They haven't looked
back! Tony wrote: “We have struck up a successful, convivial relationship
and have much in common. Connie is joining me on my navigations and next year
we are planning an Australia/New Zealand/USA round trip. I must admit I was
not looking for an older person relationship but I have found one. Didn't
you do well! Thank you again.”
